Let's talk fashion!

Okay, I don't know about y'all, but right now I'm all about the southern preppy look with brands such as the Southern Shirt Company, Southern Tide, the Frat Collection, Vineyard Vines, Southern Marsh etc. So tonight I want to talk about the Southern Shirt Company. I have two different products from SSCo. I have a tank top, and a jersey shirt. Lets talk about the tank top first. It is the most perfect thing ever to wear over your bikini to the beach! I wear mine just about every single time I go to the beach, which quite often. I got mine in pink in a size medium at Shades at the Eastern Shore Shopping Center in Alabama, if I remember correctly, it was about $26. I highly recommend you go check them out at www.southernshirt.com

Okay, next topic: the JERSEY SHIRT. It is the single most comfortable article of clothing that I own. I also purchased this at Shades in a size medium and the color "watermelon." It was $52, but it has been one of my favorite purchased all summer! It says "Southern Shirt Co." across the back and has the circle SSCo logo on the top left corner on the front of the shirt. The SSCo was having a special awhile back on Ole Miss spirit jerseys so I bought the very last one they had for my best friend. Unfortunately, Ole Miss was the only school they had them for or else I would have bought a University of Alabama one in a heart beat! I definitely suggest that y'all go to the website and check them out, especially since fall is just around the corner!

Let's Talk Makeup!

All right, I don't know about y'all, but I use Mary Kay. Partially because my mom sells it, and partially because I love it. If y'all haven't heard, Mary Kay is the official make up sponsor of Project Runway and the Teen Choice Awards. I thought I would share with y'all a few of Mary Kay's new products that I tried out today! The lip gloss is called "Enchanted Mauve". I swear, it makes my lips look so perfect, and the eye shadows are so much fun to experiment with! The eye shadow on the right is called "Earth Bound", and I don't remember the name of the one on the left right now, but I'll put it on here when I get home! The lip gloss is $16, and the eye shadows are $10 each! There are also many other new Mary Kay products that are definitely worth checking out! Monograms and Lilly!

So my senior year of high school starts August 19th. I'm still holding on to these last few weeks of summer, but if I have to go back to school, I might as well look cute doing it, right? So I got this hot pink binder from Walmart (It's the kind without the clear sleeve on the front) and monogrammed it with a 4 inch vinyl sticker which I got from Sarah Jane's Gift Shop. The sticker was $7, and the binder was probably about $4.50 ish, I'm not totally sure. I also purchased black, green, and pink chevron folders from Walmart. I ordered my large agenda from LillyPulitzer.com in "Lets Cha Cha" print. These agendas are also available at Dillard's for $28. The more school supplies and clothes I get, the more excited I get about going back to school, especially if it's monogrammed! (;

My First Blog!

So I've started this blog as a project to keep up during my senior year of high school. I will be posting about fashion, such as my favorite outfits and my favorite brands; things I monogram (which is practically everything); and anything else I feel the need to post about. This blog is honestly more for myself than anyone else, simply because it's something I've wanted to start for awhile.
